The AI & Education Roundtable is an initiative we started in 2024. Held roughly once a month, it brings leading thinkers in AI and education into our community. Past speakers have included leading experts from UNESCO who oversee the AI literacy framework, prominent ed-tech venture capitalists, and influential thinkers on AI, academic integrity, and various other topics.
The official HGSE AI policy can be found here: https://registrar.gse.harvard.edu/learning/policies-forms/ai-policy
For course-specific policies, check the syllabus—faculty have been encouraged to include an AI policy section. If you don’t see one or are unsure, feel free to email your instructor or TF to ask about the policy for your course. You can also come talk to me, and I’ll be happy to help you think it through.
If none of the listed times fit your schedule, please still go ahead and book a slot. Then, email me (maxlu@fas.harvard.edu) separately to let me know, and we’ll find a different time. I’m always happy to make it work.
Most meetings take place on Zoom. However, if you prefer, the AI TF is also happy to meet in person at a mutually agreed time and location.
These are one-on-one consultations with the AI Teaching Fellow (AITF), where you can ask any questions related to AI and education. This includes your learning at HGSE, research-related topics, or even your career beyond HGSE. We’re here to be as helpful as possible.
