Lindsay's work focuses on best practices for finding, understanding, organizing, cleaning, and using data for strengthening arguments and research. She believes everyone should have a basic understanding of data, what it can do, and how it affects everyday lives. Lindsay manages the Gutman Data & Visualization Lab helping patrons who are interested in managing and working with research data. She also works closely with the open scholarship team and issues surrounding copyright and open access publishing. Lindsay has a wealth of experience in digital archives, access, research data management, and digital humanities. She holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College and a MISt from the University of Toronto. Outside of work she enjoys running, surfing, hearing live music, and spending time with her family.
